A truly innovative electric outboard motor, the RemigoOne was the first design to incorporate the battery into the motor in a single sealed unit (a design that inspired ePropulsion when creating the eLite). Designed from the outset to break away from all traditional outboard motor styles, the RemigoOne is essentially an electric rudder. It’s also the lightest and most portable 3hp electric motor available, at only 12 kg (26 lbs), and a 2-inch wide body that lets you carry it one-handed close to your body.

Unlike virtually every other electric outboard on the market, the RemigoOne is manufactured in Europe (Slovenia—not China!)

Easy Maneuverability and Durability

This slim, all-in-one design offers several advantages over other electric motors. First, it makes it incredibly easy to maneuver, as the rudder shape combined with propulsion allows your boat to quickly turn and makes for a very tight turning radius. Secondly, it provides extreme durability. The RemigoOne features a watertight unibody constructed from marine-grade aluminium, providing durability and resistance to corrosion. It boasts an IP67 rating, ensuring protection against water ingress (even at a depth of 1 metre for 30 minutes), and includes anodes for additional corrosion protection in saltwater conditions. Controls are built into the motor rather than extended with wiring to the tiller, for fewer moving parts and failure points.

The rugged and simple design extends to the all-metal transom mount, tiller, controls and other hardware. The special two-part transom bracket design enables you to securely mount and detach the motor without the need to ever remove the bracket from the boat. A simple metal locking pin keeps the mounted motor securely in place.

Simple Operation

The motor is operated by just two push buttons on the top of the motor: one for increasing forward speed and another for decreasing forward speed and increasing reverse speed. If it sounds complicated, you’re overthinking it—it’s incredibly intuitive and easy to use. Pressing both buttons together stops the motor (as does removing the magnetic safety kill switch) and you can also press and hold a button to increase or decrease speed rapidly. A wireless (Bluetooth) remote is available which can be mounted at the end of the tiller, or held separate from the motor.

Adjustable Shaft Length

More smart design went into the shaft clamp which can be loosened and moved to different positions to make the exact shaft length you need to get the ideal propulsion for your boat (top of propeller should be 5-6 cm under the surface of the water). This means that there’s only one size of RemigoOne, which will fit every boat.

Premium Battery

If you have concerns about a fully enclosed, non-replaceable battery, note that Remigo uses premium LG cells, rated for 1000 cycles (before they reach 80% of original capacity). What this means is that if you’re charging it each day 0% to 100% for 100 days per season, it will last for 10 years before experiencing significant capacity loss. At the end of the battery life the outboard can be returned (to OceansEV) for a new battery to be fitted.

The RemigoOne can achieve a top speed of approximately 5 knots, offering a range of about 5 nautical miles over 1 hour. At a cruising speed of 3 knots, it can cover up to 14 nautical miles in approximately 4 hours. For extended journeys, operating at an economy speed of 2 knots allows for a range of up to 30 nautical miles over 15 hours.

Learn About Try-Before-You-Buy

Designed for portability.

Easy to carry. Compact and lightweight at 12kg/26lbs, it’s the lightest 3hp electric motor available.

Maintenance-free.

Other than a fresh water rinse after use, requires no regular maintenance or winterization.

No exhaust, oil slicks, emissions or fumes.

Stow in the trunk of your car without worry of spills or smell.

Suitable for freshwater and saltwater boating.

Optional, detachable, wireless (Bluetooth) speed and direction control.

Tiller locks in 3 different positions (0°, 90° and 180°). At 180° (folded down) the motor is perfectly balanced on the tiller for carrying. At 0° (pictured) the motor is locked from turning, allowing you to use your boat’s rudder to steer and the optional remote to control speed and direction.

Innovative 2-part transom mounting system. The mount stays attached to your boat, while the motor attaches and detaches simply and locks in place. All-metal design—no plastic!

For locking RemigoOne on the boat, use two standard padlocks: one goes through the mounting console, the other through the tightening clamps on the bracket.

4 trim positions

Gasket-sealed charging port, LED display (remaining charge and speed level) and intuitive two-button control interface.

Stepless shaft length adjustment. S to XL, or 38cm (15″) to 59cm (23″) shaft lengths in one outboard.

Marin-grade, aluminum unibody casing with IP67 watertight rating above the waterline, IP69 below the waterline. Entire unit can be safely submerged to up to 1m for 30 minutes.

High-efficiency, 1,000W direct-drive, brushless DC motor.

Integrated 1,085 Wh Li-ion battery and smart battery management system. Premium battery cells rated for 1,000 cycles before they drop to 80% of initial capacity.

Lightest in its class and built to last.

Amazingly lightweight at only 12kg (26.5lbs) and impossibly thin, The RemigoOne packs a tremendous amount of range and thrust in a tiny package.

Especially impressive is that despite the minimal weight, it’s built almost entirely out of metal. Only the propeller (glass fiber-reinforced polyamide), control faceplate and handle grip made from plastic composites.

Durability and convenience.

  • The all-in-one design (which ePropulsion copied for the eLite) means you don’t need to connect a battery, and with no battery cable, fewer failure points.
  • Controls (just two buttons that control speed and direction and two LED displays) are also completely sealed, further reducing failure points.
  • Motor unit attaches and detaches from the rugged mounting system, which is designed to live permanently on your boat.
